A postpartum doula provides practical and emotional support during those exciting, but challenging, first weeks at home with your new family. We provide practical care – preparing simple meals and healthy snacks for the new family, assisting with newborn care, light housework and organization, and breastfeeding support. The postpartum period can also be a very emotional, overwhelming time for a new family; the postpartum doula can provide a non-judgmental, listening ear, and extra hands for some well-deserved rest or alone time.
Postpartum doulas have been recently written about in the press.
